American Civil Liberties Union
Their focus is to defend and preserve the individual legal rights and civil liberties guaranteed to every person in the U.S. by the Constitution and laws of the United States
They provide education, legal representation and political advocacy to prevent and end human rights abuses and other related issues worldwide
They partner with various groups to end modern slavery worldwide, which includes human sex trafficking, forced labor, debt bondage, child slavery, domestic slavery, child marriage and descent-based slavery. They have special projects in Europe, Africa, Asia and South America
Black Lives Matter
Unarmed African-Americans are 2-4 times more likely to be shot and killed by police as unarmed White Americans for the same or lesser offenses. BLM campaigns against violence and systemic racism towards Black people.
Children’s Defense Fund
They advocate the legal rights and overall physical, mental, emotional, social and economic well-being of children in the U.S. They especially target the needs of poor children, children of color and those with disabilities
Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières)
Provides free medical treatment and campaigns for access to essential medicines worldwide. Their emphasis is in impoverished, politically-repressed and war-torn regions.
End It Movement
They promote awareness and raise money for partner groups whose purpose is to end modern slavery worldwide. This includes human sex trafficking, forced labour, debt bondage, child slavery, domestic slavery, child marriage and descent-based slavery.
They defend human rights and promote democratic change worldwide with a focus on legal action, political rights and civil liberties
Hope For Justice
They identify and rescue victims of human trafficking; advocating on their behalf, while helping to restore and rebuild their lives
Human Rights Action Center
They use arts and technologies to innovate, create and develop new strategies to stop human rights abuses. They also support growing human rights groups all over the world.
They exonerate the wrongly convicted through DNA testing and reform the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice.
International Federation of Human Rights
They are a federation of more than 100 human right groups worldwide. They defend all civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights as set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Know Your Rights Camp
They advance the liberation and well-being of Black and Brown communities through education, self-empowerment, mass-mobilization and the creation of new systems that elevate the next generation of change leaders.
They advocate the political, educational, social and economic quality of rights of all people, with an emphasis on people of color
United Nations Human Rights Council
They are the principal focal point of human rights research, education, public information, and advocacy activities in the United Nations system.
